This guide provides a complete walkthrough on how to customize notification settings for a restaurant management system, allowing users to tailor email and SMS communications based on various categories, such as reservations and cancellations. It highlights the importance of maintaining the integrity of templates while allowing for customization, which is essential to improving customer engagement and operational efficiency.
1. Click on your profile drop-down and go to the “Settings” section.
2. Click "Customer experience".
3. Click "Notifications".
4. You can select the template you want.
5. If you want to add a new one, click on “+”.
6. Type a name and click on “CREATE TEMPLATE”.
7. Select the type of email you want to edit, there are several categories to configure them such as: bookings with cancellation policy, bookings with prepayment or waiting list among many others.
8. Click “EDIT EMAIL”.
Alert: Be careful NOT TO DELETE THE CORKETS.
9. This is the preview of the email to be edited.
10. You can write your email here if you wish to send a test.
11. Click “SAVE” when you have edited it.
12. Select the type of SMS you want to edit, there are several categories to configure them such as: bookings with cancellation policy, bookings with prepayment or waiting list among many others.

16. To choose if you want an automatic notification to be sent for confirmed bookings from the web module click on this dropdown and choose one of the options.
17. Click “yes” to send a copy when there is an email in Company.
18. Click “yes” to send a copy when there is an email in Prescriber.
19. Click “Yes” to send a new booking information sms to the establishment.
20. If you want to receive a new booking information SMS each time a new reservation is made, click “yes” and add your phone number.
21. If you want to receive an email notification of new booking information to a different email address than the one you have in CoverManager click “yes”.
Alert: You must retype the email address you have in CoverManager if you want it to continue to reach you.
22. Enter the email(s) where you want them to be sent.
23. If you want to receive an email notification of new waiting list information to a different email than the one you have in CoverManager click “yes”. Enter the email(s) where you want to receive it.
24. If you want to receive an email notification with the client's response to a different email than the one you have in CoverManager click on “yes”. Enter the email(s) where you want to receive it.
25. If you want to be notified when a booking is cancelled or refunded, click on “Yes”.
26. Select the notifications that should arrive.
27. Enter here the email address where the notifications will be sent.
Tip: A redemption notification is an alert message that informs the customer when the time limit for inserting their card has passed, acting as a reminder to complete the action.
28. If you want to activate it, click on “Yes”.
29. Click “Yes” to send your customer email updates about ecommerce shopping.
30. To send a reconfirmation notification to the group reservations and to have the reservation taken into account in case of any change, click “yes”.
31. To let the client know that you have performed a no show, click “yes” and activate the notifications.
32. To receive a cancellation notification from the restaurant and have it displayed in the pop-up booking days click 'yes'.
33. Enter here the e-mail addresses where you will receive the group request notifications.
34. To edit your own templates, activate the “yes” button. Please note that they cannot be HTML formatted as this will affect their design.
35. If a reservation is made at your restaurant, the customer will automatically receive an event in their calendar as a reminder.
36. It gives the option to edit the booking via email.
37. To allow customers to save the booking data file in their phone wallet, click on “yes”.
Tip: To add the logo to the notifications:
38. Select a template.
39. Click “EDIT EMAIL” to access the url of the logo.
40. Click on the “image” icon.
41. To access the image, click on “View server”.
42. Click on “Select file” to insert the image.
43. Copy the link and then paste it in the place where the logo was created.
44. Paste the link you copied here to insert the logo and enter the width you prefer.
Tip: To send a template at a specific time:
45. Select the template you want to send.
46. Enter the desired schedule for sending notifications.
47. Select the days on which you want it to be applied.
48. Click on “APPLY TEMPLATE”.
49. Click "SAVE".
