Article that will help you to know the steps to make a reservation with a cancellation policy in CoverManager.
Complete reservation data: Enter the client's information, date, time, number of guests, etc.
Select type of booking:
- In the “Type of reservation” field, select the “Cancellation policy” option.
Apply for a credit card:
- Click on the “Card” icon.
- Choose request method: Select between “Insert card” (manually enter data) or “Request card” (send a payment request to the customer by email).
- Send request (if applicable): If “Request card” is chosen, enter the customer's email address and click “Validate and request card”.
Reserve status:
- Pending confirmation: The reservation will remain in “Pending” status (orange color) until the customer enters his/her card details via email.
- Confirmed: Once the client completes the payment, the reservation will change to “Confirmed” status.
