Restaurant bookings with guaranteed hold allow for better planning and commitment on both sides. By requiring confirmation in advance, the restaurant ensures customer attendance and minimizes the impact of unexpected cancellations. This system not only guarantees table availability for the customer, but also helps the establishment manage its resources efficiently, optimizing service and profitability.
Tip: Bookings made with a retention guarantee will be free of charge. When making the booking, the customer provides his credit card information. An amount will be retained in the client's account, which will be released if the client comes to the booking and will be charged otherwise (no-show or last minute cancellation).
1. Click on the “user” icon in the upper right corner and click on “Settings”.

2. Click "Booking type".

3. Click "Withholding guarantee".

4. Select the number of days prior to the booking (1 to 7 days) to make the retention. If the booking is shorter in advance, the retention will be applied immediately.

5. Select the minimum time (hours/days) in which the customer can cancel without being charged a retention guarantee: it can never be longer than the previous days configured for the retention. It can be from 1 hour to 15 days, there is also the possibility of not setting time, if you cancel or do not attend, you will be charged.

6. Enter the amount to be withheld from the customer.

7. You can choose whether or not booking made with a retention guarantee are pending confirmation.

8. Click "SAVE".
