This guide provides an effective method for locking tables in CoverManager, which is especially useful for restaurants that do not use certain tables, such as those for delivery services. Through simple steps, users can customize locks according to their needs, choosing from different days and times. The flexibility of options, from single blocks to weekly or specific configurations, allows for efficient management of restaurant space.
Tip: This is a TOTAL block, recommended for tables that are not even used by the restaurant itself, e.g. for takeaway delivery.
1. To program this block, click on the desired day of the month view.
2. Click "8. Total tables block"
3. Click on the tables that you want to block completely.
4. You have several options:
Whether you want to block at lunch or lunch and dinner.
5. Once you have chosen the tables and shifts, select the different options of days to apply it. Several application options according to your preferences:
A. Same day (today).
B. "Every Wednesday¨: here you can select one or more days of the week where you want to apply the configuration. For example; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
C. "Every day”.
D. Between two dates: for example the configuration is from November 22nd to December 22nd.
E. Specific days.
6. Click “EVERY WEDNESDAY”.
By clicking on “EVERY WEDNESDAY” you will be able to modify your schedule to apply to specific days of the week.
7. You also have the option to apply it to ¨every day¨.
8. If for example you want to set it between two dates, this drop-down will appear for you to choose from which day to which day you want to apply the changes.
9. Click on “SPECIFIC DAYS” to choose some specific dates where to apply the configuration.
10. Click “BLOCK” to save your configuration.
To block a reservation on the web, you can do it in two ways: from the reservation settings, in the option '7. Non-reservable tables', if you want to do it for a specific period or directly in the day's reservation screen, by clicking on the table and selecting 'Block web' for that specific day.
